Open Air Preaching

To reach out into the local community Pastor Mohon regularly engages in open area preaching with pastors from evangelical churches in the area. These open airs are conducted in Stockton on Tees town centre and the surrounding market towns, these include:

Thornaby
Yarm
Ripon
Bedale

In Yarm the open airs are held in the same location as John Wesley use to preach in the open air in the seventeen hundreds.

Market Stall

Stockton on Tees has traditionally been a large market town, having until recently the longest street market in Northern Europe. Church members are actively involved in running a Market Stall s elling Christian literatures. This is used as an opportunity to meet people and engage them in conversation and encourage them to take an read The Bible and other Christian literature. In December and January a large number of Trinitarian Bible Society text calendars are freely given to passersby so that the Truth of the Scriptures will be in as many local homes as possible.

The stall is stocked with a wide range of first and second hand evangelical literature. It is on the market the first Saturday every month in the region of the town hall.
